Pronounced “marr” (rhymes with car) – “inn”
it’s a family name – Danish for Mary
Sagittarius / Enneagram 7 / Swiftie

I was born on Long Island, but my dad was in the Navy, so we moved 11 times during my childhood – including Chicago, D.C., Hawaii, London, Mississippi, New Orleans, San Diego, and Alabama. Basically, I have a compulsive need to travel and create, a deep appreciation for planning, systems, and communication, plus the ability to make friends wherever I go – skills that have served me well in my career as a wedding photographer (thanks dad!)

After photographing my first wedding 12 years ago, I immediately knew it would be my career.  I love that I get to travel, meet, and photograph so many amazing people on the best day of their lives.

My other half is Stephen, and he’s pretty great. Together we have two girls and two rotten cats (aka my editing buddies).

I spend most of my days working on our home remodel, purchasing plants I don’t need, trying to get a handle on motherhood, browsing reddit, and of course – photographing weddings!
